What is microcement?
Microcement is a thin, cement-based coating (just 2–3mm) hand-applied over existing surfaces to create a seamless, modern concrete look on walls, floors, showers, and countertops — with no grout lines or joints.
Can microcement go over existing tile or floors?
Yes. One of microcement's biggest advantages is that it bonds directly over tile, concrete, drywall, and most existing surfaces — so you can resurface a bathroom or floor without demolition.
Can microcement go in a shower?
Yes, when the room is built for it. Microcement itself is a finish, not the waterproofing: we first check the substrate and the waterproofing membrane behind it, then apply and seal the microcement for showers, wet rooms, and splash zones. If the shower needs new waterproofing first, we tell you before we quote.
