What is Roman clay made of?
A clay- and mineral-based plaster applied in thin troweled layers over primed drywall, then burnished. It is natural, low-VOC, and develops a soft stone-like sheen where burnished.

Limewash is brushed and reads as soft, cloudy color; Roman clay is troweled and reads as smooth stone with bolder movement. We bring samples of both so you can compare on your wall.
Is Roman clay durable in a bathroom?
